Warner Bros. Discovery is reportedly not happy with J.J. Abrams' north of $200 million US intended spend for sci-fi fantasy drama, Demimonde.

To the extent that it may not move forward.

Little is known about the series which has been variously described as:

centered around a world’s battle against a monstrous, oppressive force

and:

the story of the extraordinary lengths a family will go to in order to find their missing child

Abrams has also reportedly laid claim to a number of DC characters but failed to deliver any content for them.
