The much anticipated second season of Star Trek Strange New Worlds has hit screens.
Episode one sees Spock in command of the Enterprise as Pike leaves to deal with the shock exit of number one after her genetically enhanced heritage was discovered. We can also look forward to a classic time-travel episode set on present-day Earth.
The new season also marks the debut of engineer Pelia, played by Carol Kane, who gets stuck on the Enterprise when the crew steal it to rescue La’an Noonian-Singh.
They’re definitely hitting the new season running.
Pelia, whose Lanthanite accent has already caught fan attention, will be a recurring character.
Strange New Worlds season 2 is available one episode a week from June 15 on Paramount Plus.
