Keanu and Carrie Interview
Posted By:

Entertainment Weekly have interviewed Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss and a few of the other main folk from The Matrix Resurrections.

Following the written article they released (so far) 3 short videos (one, two, three) of Keanu and Carrie-Anne interview.

The article is interesting and covers the history of how the new film came to be and offers some new insights.

Profound personal change has always been central to the Matrix universe. The Wachowskis came out as trans and underwent gender reassignment surgery in the years since Reloaded and Revolutions both hit theaters in 2003. This awakening may have been an unspoken part of The Matrix since the beginning; Reeves remembers an early draft of the original script that featured a character who entered the Matrix world as a different sex. "I think the studio wasn't ready for that," he says.

Mmm. Could this be dropping a hint related to the subsequent Deja Vu trailer?

Co-star Jessica Henwick reveals she had to make a big leap of faith committing to Resurrections.

She had been up for consideration for this role and also one in Marvel's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

Both studios told her she had to forfeit the other role to audition for theirs.

Just to audition. No guarantee of getting either role.

That doesn't seem fair.

Though much smaller, Neill Patrick-Harris landed his with one phone conversation and without even being informed he was under consideration.

The Matrix Resurrections releases in Australian cinemas on December 26.
