Pixar have released a trailer for their upcoming film Lightyear, which tells the story of the "real" Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story films.

The "real" Buzz Lightyear being the fictional character which inspired the toy line which produced the Buzz we've seen previously.

There aren't any surprises in this trailer. It's what you'd expect of a Pixar film and this character.

Interestingly the trailer they released in October last year received 83 million views in its first day, making it their second most anticipated film.

Lightyear premieres in Australian cinemas on June 16.
