This trailer made us smile. The idea of a couple (J.K. Simmons and Sissy Spacek) finding a chamber buried in their yard which contains a portal to another planet is unqestionably sci-fi but not intrinsically remarkable.

Then they keep the secret just between them. Regularly visiting to enjoy the scenery from the room on the other end.

Hypothetically speaking if one were to find such a portal, that wouldn't be the worst way to play it.

Tell others and it swiftly would come under government or corporate control.

It's adorable and a believable motivation to maintain secrecy, so scratches that our world could be secretly more amazing than we know itch.

All eight episodes of Night Sky will release on Prime Video on May 20.
