And now for something completely different.

What began as an Australian lockdown Facebook trivia group with a bit of a sci-fi leaning has gone global as a weekly show that still includes but isn't limited to trivia.

This is the show that's not all about trivia. It's all about fun, special guest star interviews and the interaction of the audience if you want to be involved. The trivia doesn't matter.

One of the co-hosts is someone you might not recognise if you passed him on the street, Simon Fisher-Becker, but if asked to recall the large blue-skinned alien (Dorium Maldovar) from Doctor Who, many would be able.

He's into Star Trek and the other co-host, Joe Mcgrail-Bateup, Doctor Who.

Many of their guests are sci-fi fans, and sometimes stars, eg. seventh Doctor Who Sylvestor McCoy.

We're not members of the group and concede that it's far from major news, but it may be of genuine interest to Australian sci-fi fans.

They're still on Facebook but are a public group and their videos can be watched without needing to log into the platform.
