Amazon's upcoming all-girls-can-shoot-electricity series The Power, now has its first teaser and also a firm premiere date of March 31.

A skilled marketing team can make anything look good so we don't want to get too excited but this one gives us a tingle.

As sci-fi connoisseurs we appreciate this story picking one of the more biologically realistic superpowers - electricity generation - and serving it up accordingly.

The teaser shows and describes new neck glands developing in girls.

Plus sizzling drama and Australia's own Toni Collette in the role of Mayor Margot Cleary-Lopez, who also narrates.

The Power will release in March 31 on Prime Video.
