While checking the script for our next shoot, we chanced upon an ironic google glitch relating to the upcoming time and body hopping series Quantum Leap.

The show's co-star Caitlin Bassett appears to have leapt into the body of the former Australian netball team captain. Who goes by the same name.

The result shows the IMDb.com photo for the American born actress who like her character in the new series is ex-army.

With the biographical information for the Australian born former netballer.

Remembering her US military service from an earlier blog, our brow furrowed.

That's not right.

Though an appropriate glitch for this particular series.

We reported the error to Google so it may have been fixed by the time you look for it, but have included a screenshot here.

The new Quantum Leap series - not starring Australia's Caitlin Bassett - premieres in the US on NBC on September 19.

Australia's Caitlin Bassett joined Fox Sports as a commentator this year, so can also be seen on the tellie.
