Seth MacFarlane has posted some of season 3's orchestral recording to Instagram.

We wouldn't expect much serious PR activity five months out from release and this is ultra light. Even many die-hard fans would understandably skip it.

But we didn't.

While obviously nowhere near as satisfying as new episodes, listening to this in isolation was instructive.

Beneath the great, thought-provoking and inspirational stories, there's also evocative and iconic scoring.

Easily recognisable as The Orville.

Season 3 Release

SBS will air it here but haven't yet announced a date.

In the US it will release on March 10, 2022 on Hulu.
