Jennifer Joins Dark Matter

Announced back in March, Apple's multiverse series Dark Matter starring Australia's Joel Edgerton has added Jennifer Connelly to the cast as his wife.

With Snowpiercer having been cancelled in June (though one more season still to come) her dance card opened up.

See S3 First Look

Apple have released a first look teaser for season 3 of post-apocalyptic drama, See.

It tells of a mad scientist played by Stargate Atlantis' David Hewlett who figures out how to make bombs.

Severance Update

When speaking about their impressive haul of Emmy nominations in July, Severance series creator Dan Erickson warned that their writing process was very involved and that no production date had been set for season 2.

In an interview with SiriusXM series star Adam Scott has revealed that they're going to start shooting "pretty soon".

Following an earlier Production Weekly listing which told us Fall All Mankind season four was entering production, Apple have officially renewed it.

The announcement came at the San Diego Comic-Con.

For All Mankind S3

Apple have released the season 3 For All Mankind trailer and while we don't watch this show - Ronald D. Moore's penchant for peddling religion is not for us - the parallels between this alternate Earth space race and our own are clear.

This season introduces a third into that race between the US and Russia - a wealthy private citizen - and the goal is now Mars.

Dichen Lachman Interview

The Guardian have published a short interview with Australian actress Dichen Lachman, whose sci-fi credentials include DollhouseAgents of S.H.I.E.L.D, The 100 and most recently, Apple's widely acclaimed Severance.

Fair warning - the interview is a little bit spoilerish for Severance.

Severance Renewed

Apple have renewed sci-fi workplace dark comedy, Severance ahead of its season 1 finale.

While we haven't managed to watch this one yet we were very impressed by its trailers and hopeful of the show actually living up to their promise.

Apple Year Ahead

Apple have published their lineup of original TV series releasing this year.

There's not a lot of sci-fi - just two series - but out of a total of thirteen that's not too bad.
