Welcome to Redfall

Bethesda have released a Welcome to Redfall trailer for upcoming open world vampire shooter co-op Redfall.

We've been impressed by what we've seen of Redfall but coming just a few weeks after their extended gameplay trailer and developer interview, this little thing feels small.

Star Ocean Release Date

Sci-fi / fantasy roleplaying game Star Ocean the Divine Force has announced a release date with a new trailer.

Said trailer is packed with cringe-inducing dialog but additional videos showcasing characters and combat, and the opening scenes look much more promising.

Sonic Frontiers

Courtesy of a Nintendo Direct showcase we now have another trailer for the upcoming open world translation of a class platformer, Sonic Frontiers.

It shows a bit more of the island, combat and a new area called cyberspace.

Gotham Knights - Robin

Warner Bros. have released their official Robin trailer for upcoming action roleplaying game Gotham Knights.

While we think the game looks good, this character maybe not so much. Or at least not to our tastes.

Avatar Reckoning Delayed

A new mostly cinematic trailer has dropped for free-to-play mobile massively online roleplaying game / shooter Avatar: Reckoning.

Just announced at the beginning of this year and expected to release before its end, it is now slated for 2023.

We've posed the question - when is sci-fi not sci-fi - in relation to HBO's series Station 11. Today we have to ask, when is a sequel not a sequel?

Because the curious relationship between Overwatch and Overwatch 2 may have just changed.

Looter shooter roleplaying video game Tiny Tina's Wonderlands have released their third DLC Molten Mirrors with a trailer.

We don't see any literal molten mirrors.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Nintendo have released a trailer and introductory presentation for upcoming action Japanese roleplaying game Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

It's a series we're only distantly vaguely aware of so we didn't completely understand the trailer.

Metaverse Standards

The Khronos Group, a non-profit tech industry consortium with the goal of fostering interoperability standards, have established a Metaverse Standards Forum.

Founding members unsurprisingly include tech giants Meta (formerly known as Facebook), Microsoft, Sony, Huawei, Epic Games, Unity, Adobe an Nvidia.
