Reports earlier this month indicated that shot in Victoria sci-fi drama La Brea had been renewed for a third and likely final season. Shorter courtesy of an impending writer's strike.

La Brea Renewed

Filmed in Australia sinkhole sci-fi drama La Brea isn't a show we'd call great. We couldn't make it through the first episode. Critics also don't love it.

But it continues to rate not terribly on US network television and in later streaming. Enough to be renewed for a third season.
