It is being widely reported that Charlie Cox has confirmed that the upcoming Disney Daredevil: Born Again series won't be a continuation of the Netflix Daredevil series.
Upon cursory examination we found this to be an instance of misreporting.
Since a March production schedule listed "Daredevil Reboot" the long anticipated and widely rumoured series was regarded as in the works.
Officially it still isn't but Covert Affairs creators Matt Corman and Chris Ord have been engaged to write and executive produce the new Daredevil for Disney+.
Industry magazine Production Weekly which reports on films entering production have listed Deadpool 3. Interesting but not a complete surprise given last week's news that Shawn Levy was in talks to direct.
More interesting is the preceding entry in the listing - "Daredevil Reboot". Just a few days after Daredevil and the other Netflix Marvel series joined the MCU on Disney+ in the US.
