Back in March it was rumoured that the Avatar 2 trailer would premiere with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in cinemas.

We felt that the specifics of the rumour might be sinister but also that it was a reasonable prediction.

At Cinemacon in Las Vegas attendees were treated  to one minute of footage - mostly scenery - with the promise of a full trailer to accompany Doctor Strange.

The film now also officially has a title - The Way of Water.

Another treat for attendees was the first Borderlands film footage.

Unfortunately we don't get to see any this. Just read that they both have lots of people very excited.

The best we can offer you is someone conducting a quick interview with Avatar 2 star and Cinemacon Star of the Year Zoe Saldana in which she reveals that not even she has seen this Avatar teaser.

Her clear messaging is that to be fully appreciated the trailer needs to be seen in cinemas.
