This year's Gamescom hasn't begun yet but some of its attendees have begun rolling out trailers.

One of those is botanical sim / management game Distant Bloom.

After a long expedition through space, you and your crew land on an alien planet with the critical mission of establishing a new home for your species. Distant Bloom is an accessible and rewarding game that offers a warm, sheltered and intimate experience.

Warm, sheltered and intimate?

Judging by the trailer gameplay looks decidedly on the easy side of the spectrum.

Picking up some random trash is all it takes for plants to literally spring to life.

Might not offer much challenge but it's a cute take on terraforming.

Distant Bloom is scheduled to release in 2023 on PC (Steam).
