While early reviewer impressions for Eternals looked promising, reviews and scores are now coming in and ScreenRant report that they're a bit on the low side.

Presently with a score of 71%, it's Marvel's third worst Rotten Tomatoes ranked film, just slightly behind Iron Man 2, and one of their few not certified fresh.

That's not garbage but doubtless disappointing for viewers and creators alike.

ScreenRant include a sample of critiques and conclude:

Critics have sung its praises for its diverse and well-written cast and the grand scale of the story, but they’ve also admonished it for not doing enough with said cast and for both dragging out said story for too long and not doing enough with it - which is not the most ideal dichotomy of opinions for a film such as this to have.
