Slightly preceding their January first season premiere, Disney renewed superhero-envy comedy series Extraordinary and they've now commenced shooting season two.

Despite our title pre screening renewals actually aren't uncommon but in this case their confidence bumps us off the fence.

Premise appeals, one of the trailers left us smiling if not actually laughing but another promo didn't quite land properly for us.

Leaving us uncertain.

So we didn't rush to watch this one.

Can't say a pre-emptive renewal has ever influenced our decision to watch anything before but in this case, we are moved and will make time for this one.

Season 1 of Extraordinary is streaming now on Disney+.
