Previously scheduled to release on the same day as Gotham Knights - which is shaping up to be a potential juggernaut - comedy sci-fi shooter High on Life has delayed its launch to December.

Without any reference to that or any other game. Of course. Quality. Bug squishing. Etc. etc.

There's still horror survival The Callisto Protocol in December which is also a major title but perhaps these two games could be perfect partners.

Dig into the psychology of comedy and you'll find that functionally many regard it as a form of anxiety relief.

Play Callisto Protocol to get your scare on.

When you can take no more, switch to High on Life to giggle yourself back to chilldom.

Rinse and repeat.

As a consolation for the delay developer Squanch Games have offered us another of their amusing advertisements.

Though this one didn't amuse us as much as their earlier ones.

High on Life is now scheduled to release on December 13 on PC and Xbox.

The Callisto Protocol is scheduled to release on December 2 on PC, Xbox and PlayStation.
