The first teaser for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is out.

It all feels terribly expected.

The special effects are excellent.

Have we seen that car transforming around a passenger to change direction trick before?

A darkness is coming.

This threat is like no other you've faced.

Bring it on.

Nothing new here except additions to the Transformers movie stable - Maximals, Predacons and Terrorcons.

This teaser doesn't have us drooling in anticipation but even the bad Transformers films have been at least watchable so we'll add this one to our dance card.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts premieres in Australian cinemas on June 8, 2023.
