A second trailer for Shazam! Fury of the Gods is out showcasing this film's two divine villains, daughters of Atlas Hespera (Helen Mirren) and Kalypso (Lucy Liu).

While we found the first Shazam film to be a bit ordinary, this trailer gets off to a flying start.

Titular Shazam (Zachary Levi) and Hespera are having a sit down where she calmly explains that everyone is doomed.

He gets quippy, as we've come to expect from many superheroes:

You are very menacing. I just want you to know that.

Rather than joining the quipfest, Hespera plants her foot on his chest and launches him across the street.

As much as we truly appreciate comedic banter, would every villain join in or even have any tolerance for it?

There's something refreshingly business-like and visceral about her reply.

Realistic rather than relatable or respectable.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods kicks off in Australian cinemas on March 16.
