Bethesda have released a new trailer for Starfield which gives a brief overview of the location and major factions.

Set in 2330 and an area extending 50 light years out from our solar system, the game will show us the Settled Systems.

Two main factions - the United Colonies and the Freestar Collective have previously warred but presently enjoy an uneasy peace. Isn't that always the way?

Other threats include ecliptic mercenaries, pirates of the Crimson Fleet, violent spacers and fanatical religious zealots.

The organisation to which the player will belong is called Constellation. They're big on exploration.
