Disney have dropped the season 3 trailer for The Mandalorian.

One scene made us chuckle, as a character we vaguely recognise from an earlier season bids, "May the Force be with you."

Then we cut to baby Yoda / shameless merchandising opportunity / Grogu cracking a frown.

Yeah that's pretty how much we feel.

A later scene shows four unidentifiable (we think) Jedi waving lightsabers about, so more Order 66 survivors?

Possibly that's super exciting for continuing and new fans but as a former fan, eh.

We did watch the first two seasons and The Mandalorian is at least much better quality than many of the Disney era Star Wars offerings, but still misses the Star Wars mark in a variety of ways we won't bore anyone with.

The Mandalorian's first two seasons are streaming now on Disney+ with the third arriving on March 1.
