DC have released a 2022 film teaser and it didn't excite us at all.

We've watched it several times. Including some unknown character telling us she has goosebumps.

But we're not feeling it.

This is... about the 90th Batman we've seen in our lives, The Flash from from the embarassing Justice League film, Aquaman from the same and several new characters.

Yes we saw both Justice Leagues and the full Snyder was even worse.

Granted, Aquaman's own film was decent so that's something but his voiceover contribution here is lame.

Dialog, not performance.

For us this 1 minute 4 film string of random micro-sequences may as well have been 1 minute of flashing lights.

Harsh but it's rare for promotional footage to be so flat.

We rewatched the recent Netflix equivalent for comparison. That works. This doesn't. So we're not just tired or in a bad mood.

Is the teaser aimed more at DC fans? We understood some but not all of its references.

Whatever the case, The Batman hits Australian cinemas on March 2, Black Adam July 28, The Flash November 3 and Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom December 26.
