HBO have released the trailer for their upcoming series The Time Traveler's Wife.

There's considerably more action (i.e. violence) in the trailer than we would have guessed based on earlier impressions but that surrounds the time traveler (Theo James).

The title suggests that the focus will be his wife (Rose Leslie) but that originates with the book and the series needn't be bound by that.

Regardless, the trailer does succeed in selling this as potentially more than just a romance.

The Time Traveler's Wife will premiere on Binge in Australia in May.
