In a cost-cutting frenzy, Warner Bros. have not just been cancelling shows and films but also removing them from their US streaming service HBO.

They have now struck a deal with Roku and Fox Corp's Tubi to stream some of that content like Westworld.

While neither of those services is natively available in Australia without a VPN what this signals is that Warner Bros. don't intend to deny viewers the means to watch nixed content.

They're seeking new homes for them.

Since we don't have HBO here in Australia existing streamers of WB content might simply continue to offer them.

We'll keep our ear to the ground for changes on this front.
