Not Exactly Stargate News

In a curious confluence we found three news stories today which sadly aren't about the long-hoped revival of that beloved TV franchise, but which relate to it.

Stealthy Stargate

In gaming this week we've had Star Trek: Resurgence, Star Wars Eclipse and Starfield.

What's missing? Stargate? Actually no, but they snuck in under the radar by not flaunting themselves at The Game Awards and instead just releasing a gameplay trailer and opening the Steam page for the upcoming Stargate: Timekeepers.

Stargate Table Reading

GateWorld reports that former Stargate cast Amanda Tapping, Michael Shanks, David Hewlett and Jewel Staite are re-uniting to read an AI generated script for The Companion.

Looks like they only invited doctors, though Captain Doctor Samantha Carter has made it to General for this script.
