Action roleplaying game Gotham Knigths have released a video about the Batman family.

There's really not a lot to it or any new reveals but those following the title may want to take a look.

Matt Shakman is no longer set to direct the long awaited fourth Star Trek film in the J. J. Abramsverse.

He is considering a return to the Marvel family and is in early talks to direct their upcoming Fantastic Four film.

More Umbrella

Joyous news. Netflix have renewed The Umbrella Academy for a fourth and final season.

It's always sad when a great show ends but as we remarked in June, season 4 feels like a natural ending point for this brilliant story.

Love and Thunder

Pretty much as expected because accelerated transition to streaming is in vogue, Thor: Love and Thunder will arrive on Disney+ on September 8.

Though widely regarded as inferior to Ragnarok, reputable reviewers describe it as at least above average so it could be worth a few hours of your time.

MultiVersus v Elden Ring

Since it launched in February this year, fantasy action roleplaying game Elden Ring has near continuously topped a range of gaming charts, occasionally being displaced by a new release before typically retaking first place.

Warners Bros. free-to-play 2D fighter MultiVersus has managed to take first place on NPD's chart of US gaming sales for July.

Gotham at Gamescom

Having completely dominated gaming news of late we had seriously thought that maybe Gotham Knights would take a few days off for Gamescom.

Nope. This morning they tweeted their inclusion in its Opening Night which here in Australia will be streaming on the 24th at 4 AM AEST.

Capes

Brisbane based developer Spitfire Interactive have announced a new superhero turn-based strategy game called Capes which is set to release next year.

If Marvel thought delaying Midnight Suns' release to next year would move it out of the way of superhero competition (Gotham Knights), they may need to think again.

Warner Bros. have released, via Twitter it seems, short annotated gameplay videos for each of the playable characters in upcoming action roleplaying game Gotham Knights, which others have helpfully republished together.

So it's a two minute blow-by-blow combat preview.
