Tiny Tina's Story Trailer

Gearbox have released the official story trailer for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, which is a curious case of a fantasy roleplaying game inside a sci-fi roleplaying game.

That's what the Bunkers and Badasses book is at the beginning of the trailer - the name of that roleplaying game inside the sci-fi game.

Moonfall Taste Test

Lionsgate have released the first five minutes of upcoming sci-fi disaster epic, Moonfall.

It's a very solid opening sequence.

Touching the Stars

NASA have reported a major achievement. Their Parker solar probe has flown through the sun's upper atmosphere and sampled particles and magnetic fields.

They've released a short and fascinating 5 minute video about the project and what we've already learned from it.

Another Boba Fett Teaser

Disney have released their latest The Book of Boba Fett teaser, titled Ready.

Like their previous teasers, most of it is footage they've shown before but there's a tiny bit of new stuff.

Star Wars National Treasure

The US National Film Registry has revealed its annual list of 25 movies for inclusion in the registry.

Two big sci-fi films are among them - Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and WALL-E, with the former scoring the highest number of public votes from among a list of 6150 films.

Mother/Android on Netflix

Last month we looked at the official trailer for Hulu's fresh take on the zombie apocalypse, Mother/Android.

No Hulu for us here downunder but Netflix has nabbed it and set a release date of January 7, 2022.

Stealthy Stargate

In gaming this week we've had Star Trek: Resurgence, Star Wars Eclipse and Starfield.

What's missing? Stargate? Actually no, but they snuck in under the radar by not flaunting themselves at The Game Awards and instead just releasing a gameplay trailer and opening the Steam page for the upcoming Stargate: Timekeepers.
