Mundfish have released a boss fight gameplay video for their upcoming action roleplaying game, Atomic Heart.

Frickin' adorable, press 'space' for revenge and the little boss specific death animation. Amusing.

Personally not fans of this kind of boss fight, which is the typical one.

Super powerful enemy but with some ridiculously exploitable weakness in their attack pattern.

Not immersive in our books.

But typical.

YouTube groans under the weight of footage of such boss fights from other games.

This boss - Hedgie - will probably impress that crowd.

And we know that developers know that not everyone digs this kind of content.

There's bound to be a difficulty slider or some other way to mitigate the tedium.

Not much showcased in terms of weapons or abilities.

Some looked interesting but their purpose / functionality was not entirely clear.

Looking forward to seeing some regular non-boss gameplay.

Well, there's a bit of that in an IGN First examining the game's alternate Soviet history and setting.

Atomic Heart releases on February 21, 2023, on PC, Xbox One and X|S, and Playstation 4 and 5.
