Today Destiny 2's The Witch Queen expansion went live and with it came details and a trailer for their update Season of the Risen.

For any non-gamers confused by that sentence, Destiny 2 is the base game. The Witch Queen is a paid, major content addition. Season of the Risen is a free update to the base game.

Not having played the game or having any familiar with their seasons system we have to confess to not completely understanding this trailer but it probably makes perfect sense to Destiny 2 players.

Season of the Risen commences February 23 on PC, Xbox and Playstation.
