Fresh from HBO is a NSFW kind of fresh trailer for the fourth season of DC's Doom Patrol.

No really. Don't play this one at work. A few of those scenes are potential shockers.

Admittedly we didn't finish watching season 3.

It being a weekly release series we just lost track of it.

But we don't remember it being this saucy.

Perhaps it has something to do with this season's story?

One thing we remember and recognised instantly is the voice of Mark Sheppard (Supernatural, Battlestar Galactica), here playing Willoughby Kipling.

Who is described as an occult detective and chaos magician.

Ah.

Wouldn't say that we typically associate chaos magic with robo-penis lasers or dancing buttholes but it seems a likely culprit.

On the other hand, pausing and peering closely in the interest of anatomical accuracy, they look eerily familiar.

Googling "doom patrol dancing buttholes" - definitely something we hadn't envisaged doing today or ever - yes, they appeared in both the first and third seasons.

So this might just be business as usual.

Couldn't find a confirmed release date for Australia but in the US it's coming to HBO on December 8 so we'd expect to see it here soon after on Binge.
