Sort of. While we never jumped on the bandwagon to summarily execute beleaguered by controversy star Ezra Miller, we are slightly skeptical of the official apology they recently issued.

It's both light on details and aim.

Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment. I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.

Presently he is the subject of a wide array of allegations, ranging from theft and light assault to employing drugs, his fame and fortune to brainwash Takota Iron Eyes who was a young teenager when they met her.

The latter is the subject of a protection order application by her parents which Takota has publicly disputed as malicious and transphobic.

Without downplaying the seriousness of theft and assault, to our eye it's his actions in relation to Takota which are the most problematic.

Not legally speaking, but morally and in terms of public perception.

We are very curious to see what comes of that case.

If innocent of wrongdoing in that matter then this apology may be appropriate in relation to the others.

When shelving the nearly completed Batgirl film recently on the basis of poor test screenings, it was also reported that test screenings for Ezra's The Flash film due in cinemas next year were excellent.

So Warner Bros. are likely very keen for Ezra redeem themselves in the public eye.

The Flash is currently scheduled to premiere in Australia cinemas on June 23.
