From June 6-10 Netflix will be conducting their 2022 Geeked Week virtual fan fest with news, panels and sneak peaks.

Of course there's an accompanying trailer.

Reassuringly we see another hilarious snippet from Resident Evil to confirm the comedic legitimacy of its second teaser.

There's also what appears to be first albeit brief video from Cyberpunk Edgerunners.

Being a fan of Cyberpunk 2077 (the related computer roleplaying game) we're a bit excited about that one.

Other sci-fi titles include The Sandman, The Umbrella Academy, Sweet Tooth, Resident Evil, Spiderhead and they promise epic surprises.

One of those surprises is probably Arcane - we spotted a tiny bit of what looked like Arcane style animation and also recognise Arcane and Star Trek: Prodigy voice actress Ella Purnell's name among the hosts.

Other names we recognise are Felicia Day - one of the potential and then activated slayers from the final season of Buffy, among other things - and The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley.

Each day is dedicated to different content:

• Monday - Series
• Tuesday - Film
• Wednesday - Animation
• Thursday - Stranger Things
• Friday - Games

A whole day for Stranger Things?

After spending $30 million per episode on the upcoming series it makes sense to shine a little extra light on it.

Geeked Week 2022 runs from June 6 to 10 on Netflix.
