Train to Busan and Hellbound director Yeon Sang-ho will create a new fictional universe with South Korean gaming company Smilegate who are known for online shooter Crossfire and just recently released in the west, free-to-play online roleplaying game Lost Ark.

They plan to make games, films, TV series and webtoons.

Will it be sci-fi? A "new universe" suggests sci-fi and / or fantasy.

This could be one to watch closely.
