AMC have swung the axe for a third time in a month, cancelling animated series Pantheon, but with one interesting difference.

Pantheon's second season has not aired but has already been produced.

The cancellation of Moonhaven, Demascus and Pantheon are part of broader streamlining measures which reach beyond sci-fi but having already been produced, why not stream Pantheon's season two?

Examining the cancellation of first season currently in production comedy / drama Demascus, we remarked that the AMC+ channel for us is definitely one subscription too many.

Its cancellation makes it more likely that we'll see it, because there's a chance it will be picked by up a service we subscribe to.

Chopping Pantheon with a fresh season ready to roll out potentially gives AMC an immediate way to test the theory - might our content get more views and earn us more money on other platforms?

We never watched Pantheon but were very impressed by its trailer.

Pantheon has been removed from the AMC+ library so isn't presently available to stream on any service.
