Animated sci-fi comedy Rick and Morty will be back for a seventh season, with a release date just announced.
The Adult Swim series features a mad scientist and the grandson he drags into insanely dangerous adventures across the universe.
A teaser video released this week was distinctly low-key, with characters Beth and Summer left to speculate what the upcoming season holds, including whether Morty will finally date Jessica of the possibility of Rick catching Rick Prime.
What has yet to be announced is who will replace co-creator Justin Roiland as the voices of both Rick and Morty. He was removed from the series following revelations of domestic violence charges made against him, which were subsequently dropped. It’s believed the studio has found replacement sound-alikes.
Rick and Morty season seven hits Hulu on October 15, or on Disney+ where Hulu isn’t available.
