Do you need to have already watched this show to fully appreciate the gags?

Can't say because we have and we do.

But the trailer demonstrates the basic premise of taking invariably glossed over facets of vampirism - from the horrific to the mundane - an unconventional family and a mockumentary style.

Which at least in this show works.

What We Do in the Shadows releases on July 12 in the US and is expected to arrive downunder on Binge soon after.
