Netflix's Stranger Things and Disney's Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi unofficially went head-to-head last week with both releasing on the same day.

According to Samba TV, Stranger Things won with 2.9 million U.S. households tuning in over the 4-day holiday weekend, and 2.14 million households watching Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Disney announced that Obi-Wan Kenobi is their most watched original series premiere.

Similarly Stranger Things season 4 was Netflix's biggest weekend premiere with 286.79 million hours viewed, beating Brigerton season 2 with 193 million.

Stranger Things reached number one position in 83 out of the 93 countries which Netflix tracks.
