The Very Long Goodbye
Posted By:

More than a year ago we scoffed at the "explanation" clip following the first six episodes of The Nevers, and are surprised to be reading that HBO have freshly cancelled it.

And along with Westworld, it will be removed from their streaming service.

Binge (Foxtel Australia) and HBO (Warner Bros.) are separate entities so we don't know if the same will happen down here.

Quite possibly Binge has already paid for the full season of The Nevers and will want to stream it.

HBO delisting shows with low viewer numbers isn't new. It's a money saver.

Being cancelled towards the end of a year plus long mid first season break is unusual, but the show is middling and HBO cutting back across the board probably decided to just pull the trigger early.

Westworld and The Nevers are streaming now, but maybe not for much longer, on Binge.
