A new expedition has launched in No Man's Sky and it's their biggest yet.

Bigger than giant flying sandworms? Yes. Prepare to meet Leviathan.

They look like much larger versions of living ships though whether the leviathan is also an artificial biological construct or some naturally occuring entity isn't clear from the update notes.

This may be revealed during to players during the expedition.

One of the completion rewards is a leviathan frigate and another is a juvenile leviathan base item.

The Leviathan expedition is live now in No Man's Sky on PC, Xbox, Playstation and Nintendo Switch.
