Lucasfilm have revealed the name and a few basic details about a new series expected to premiere next year on Disney+ - Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.

John Watts (Spider-Man: No Way Home) will direct, Jude Law will star and it focuses on four lost children trying to get home.

Avenue 5 Likely Over

Deadline report that Avenue 5 is unlikely to get a third season.

They put this down to COVID - contracts expiring over the downtime period - but we didn't think it was very good.

They definitively reiterate that The Orville hasn't been cancelled.

Orville Interview

In an exclusive interview with The List, The Orville's Adrianne Palicki (Commander Kelly Grayson) and Penny Johnson Jerald (Dr Claire Finn) have revealed that courtesy of COVID and co-star Jessica Szohr's (Lieutenant Talla Keyali) pregnancy, one episode of the upcoming season took three years to shoot.

Gizmodo have published an interesting interview with several of The Orville's production leadership focusing on its relation to Star Trek.

Including Seth MacFarlane though his contributions boil down to little more than thinking there's still room for The Orville among all of the new Star Trek series.

Horizon Zero Dawn Series

Sony have announced that their post-apocalyptic robo-dinosaur action roleplaying video game series Horizon Zero Dawn, will be adapted for television.

It is presently in production for Netflix.

Geeked Week Schedule

Netflix have released the full schedule for their upcoming Geeked Week 2022 which focuses on Netflix genre titles, i.e. sci-fi, fantasy, horror and action.

The only sci-fi surprises, i.e. titles which we didn't already recognise from their trailer, are on animation day.
