HBO's post-apocalyptic zombie drama The Last of Us based on the popular PlayStation game has been given a January 16 release date in Australia on Binge and Foxtel.
Which on our calendar will be the first new sci-fi series to launch next year.
Perfectly timed to coincide with the launch of action roleplaying game Gotham Knights, though set in different universes, HBO have released the trailer for season 4 of Titans.
In the series, Nightwing / Dick Grayson (who also features in the game) is played by Australian actor Brenton Thwaites.

It's probably not a coincidence that on the same day we get a Gotham Knightstrailer telling us to think of Alfred as part of the Batman family, we get the season 3 trailer for Pennyworth: The Origin of Batman’s Butler.
We don't think game and series are part of the same DC universe, but that doesn't mean Warner Bros. can't hope for a bit of cross-promotion.
HBO have produced one of those promotional looking ahead videos with brief flashes of all of their upcoming content, including new seasons of Avenue 5 and DC's Titans, Pennyworth and Doom Patrol.
Most interestingly they end on a big note with footage from upcoming post-apocalyptic zombie drama The Last of Us adapted from the video game.
In an interview with Deadline, Westworld creators and showrunners Johnathon Nolan and Lisa Joy have confirmed that we still haven't seen the ending they have in mind.
If you've not watched the finale yet, avoiding spoilers, it ends on a cleverly ambiguous note which could serve as a satisfying ending while still teasing the possibility of more.
HBO have cancalledThe Time Traveler's Wife in its first season which The Hollywood Reporter details only drew a small crowd.
With a 38% / 85% critic / viewer Rotten Tomatoes score, based on an extremely low 286 viewer ratings, possibly it's good for what it is but not something a lot of people want to watch.
