Nominees for the 47th People's Choice Awards have been accounced.

Science-fiction is moderately well represented but looks completely different to the recent Saturns.

Between them Star Wars and to a lesser extent, Star Trek dominated the Saturns. Especially in wins.

Neither received any PCA nominations for this or the previous year.

Though checking through their awards in wikipedia and imdb, we could only find one PCA for either, way back in the 7th, for Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.

It impressively snagged Favorite Motion Picture.

The PCA had originally been determined by Gallup polls and moved to online voting in 2005.
