In January Thunderful Games unveiled post-apocalyptic steampunk construction and management simulator SteamWorld Build.

We were impressed and are pleased to see something new in their latest gameplay trailer - mining.

Rather than resource gathering being passive as it is in most city building games, in this one you have to actually build and manage mines.

However that element of the game wasn't on display in previous trailers or the demo which ended before entering the mine.

We don't know if that demo has been updated but like what we see in this trailer.

SteamWorld Build is scheduled for a 2023 launch on PC, Xbox One and X|S, PS4 and PS5.

A free PC demo is also available on Steam, GOG and Epic.
