Netflix have dropped a teaser for their highly anticipated Resident Evil series.
It can be difficult to judge content based on teasers or trailers, but what we can see in this one is film quality production values.
Originally scheduled for a November (i.e. 11) 11 release which would coincide with Skyrim's 11th anniversary, Bethesda have delayed their sci-fi roleplaying game, Starfield to 2023.
Joining it is Arkane's first person shooter vampire game, Redfall.
Ubisoft have narrowed their intended launch window for Avatar open world action computer game, Frontiers of Pandora to the final quarter of this year.
With the film releasing in cinemas in December, their goal may to be launch prior to that to capitalise on it and also Christmas gift sales.
Video Games Chronicle report that an N7 day lithograph description may have unintentionally revealed plans for the next Mass Effect game to see a return of major character Shepard from the original trilogy.
That description has since been altered and officially brushed off as a mistake but with ambiguous language which doesn't explicitly deny Shepard's return.
Amazon Studios have renewed near future virutal afterlife comedy Upload for a third season.
The announcement also details that since premiering on March 11, it "has remained a Top 10 series on the service."
Returning showrunner Russell T. Davies confirmed that he planted "a couple of misleading things" about the identity of the actor who will next play Doctor Who.
We now know that our next Doctor Who will be played by Ncuti Gatwa of Sex Education fame and this is being framed explicitly as not a diversity hire.
Once upon a time, cosplay (costume play), larping (live action roleplaying) and ARGs (alternate reality games) were the domain of geeks but are increasingly becoming mainstream.
How mainstream, you ask? Ahead of its cinema release next month Jurassic World Dominion, or rather the "Department of Prehistoric Wildlife", has launched a dinotracker website.
We have our first look at season four of Westworld this morning courtesy of a teaser from HBO.
After three compelling and constantly surprising seasons they appear to have pulled yet another rabbit out of their hat with swarms of flies and something which looks like giant spider webs.
