Depite viewer numbers being low this season, Doctor Who has nabbed second place in a public vote for The Most Beloved BBC Show conducted by the BBC's The One show.
That's quite an honour and there's obviously still a lot of love for the series.

We're rather fond of Doctor Who but not so much the racist turn it took this season.
It was only out of a sense of fairness that we watched episode 3, to check if there were any more "potato heads" or equivalent, or if the Doctor had anything to say about them.
During an online press Q&A, Chris Chibnall and Jodie Whittaker have made a few more parting remarks.
There are no major revelations, though Jodie's language appears to have changed slightly. Previously all statements about she and Chris had indicated a firm 3 year and out plan for them both.
