This trailer made us smile. The idea of a couple (J.K. Simmons and Sissy Spacek) finding a chamber buried in their yard which contains a portal to another planet is unqestionably sci-fi but not intrinsically remarkable.
Then they keep the secret just between them. Regularly visiting to enjoy the scenery from the room on the other end.
Deadline report that while no deal has been signed yet, Amazon are in talks to host the live action film adapation of the 1980's cartoon series which featured the titular giant robot.
We now have the first teaser trailer for season 3 of The Boys and it's a shocker.
On first view it's non-stop action set to a snappy tune and the standout is what appears to be supe-hating Billy (Karl Urban) now with laser beam eye superpowers, but upon closer examination - much pausing - there's a lot more to this.

Amazon have released Upload's season two trailer and even though we haven't had a chance to watch season one yet, we were able to follow it and understand the jokes.

A sci-fi film which has picked up a bundle of awards from indie festivals is now available on Amazon. It's called The Electric Man.
The press release says available now and Amazon have a webpage for it which can be found via google. That google result has an image from the film and an accurate synopsis but the webpage itself is blank.
Amazon's sci-fi psychological thriller, Foe, has begun filming in Victoria.
It's a long way from being on our screens so don't go getting too excited. Except for the possibility of seeing places you know or perhaps even frequent in major titles like this.
