Cox on Daredevil

It is being widely reported that Charlie Cox has confirmed that the upcoming Disney Daredevil: Born Again series won't be a continuation of the Netflix Daredevil series.

Upon cursory examination we found this to be an instance of misreporting.

Creator, showrunner and star Seth MacFarlane has tweeted a Happy Fifth Birthday to The Orville.

Beyond Imperfect

Quick note. We've had time to check out Netflx's new series The Imperfects, whose trailer we noted looked good.

Netflix's PR department sure know how to make a good trailer. Even from a dead on arrival dud.

Secret Invasion

The ever expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe has just dropped the trailer for what will be its first phase five series, Secret Invasion.

Personally we haven't been super excited for any of the Marvel series offerings. Until this one.

Star Wars Stuff

With "wars" in their name you wouldn't expect a franchise like Star Wars to ever back down from a fight and up against the recent Star Trek Day's trailers and news, Disney dropped 3 series trailers.

Though there was no news about the in development open-world Star Wars game in the Ubisoft Forward livestream today.

Paper Binned

Amazon have promptly tossed Paper Girls into the bin a little over a month after its release on July 29.

It scored well with both critics and viewers on Rotten Tomatoes, but receiving only 441 audience ratings suggests very low viewership.

The Peripheral

Amazon have released a teaser for The Peripheral, a new series from Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy.

Somewhat like Westworld, it all appears quite mundane at the beginning and on the surface, but gets seriously funky and then some.

Quantum Leap Trailer

US TV network NBC have released a trailer for their upcoming revival of Quantum Leap.

Very helpfully explaining the show's premise, mechanics, rules and so forth.

Alfred Again

It's probably not a coincidence that on the same day we get a Gotham Knights trailer telling us to think of Alfred as part of the Batman family, we get the season 3 trailer for Pennyworth: The Origin of Batman’s Butler.

We don't think game and series are part of the same DC universe, but that doesn't mean Warner Bros. can't hope for a bit of cross-promotion.
