No surprise here at all. The "final" trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water released a few days ago wasn't their final promo.

There's a new teaser and also a declaration of this being Australian Avatar Week.

Callisto v Avatar

Earlier this year, fantasy action roleplaying game Elden Ring swung big in the promotion department, with several television commercials starring well known actors and sports people.

The Callisto Protocol has picked up the same bat.

Avatar Conservation

Disney is presently running a promotion where for every Avatar inspired ocean creature created on their website, they will donate $5 to The Nature Conservancy for oceanic preservation efforts.

That's nice.

Open the Door

With their animated Strange World hitting cinemas soon Disney have begun pumping out the teasers. This fresh one is titled Open the Door.

Found earlier trailers promising but this one falls flat and we'd actually tuned out by its end.

Rebel Moon

Though we are not a fan of Zack Snyder and haven't watched anything of his since the embarrassing 2020 re-release of Justice League, we have been keeping an eye on his Rebel Moon film with Netflix.

Up until a few days ago there hadn't been much of substance beyond casting decisions. Now we have a synopsis.

Another Not Update Update

In an interview with Comicbook.com, Tim Allen has given fresh indication that people are still interested in making another Galaxy Quest.

But as with previous indications, there's no actual movement on this front.

Disney Plus Price Bump

Disney have increased the monthly subscription cost in Australia from $11.99 to $13.99, effective December 8.

That's comparable to the December price increase in the US which was published in August, though without an advertising tier.

Star Wars Film Update

In an interview with The Wrap, J.D. Dillard revealed that two Disney projects he had been attached to, are not moving forward.

One was an untitled Star Wars film and the other, a sequel to the 90s Rocketeer film.

People have named former Captain America and Human Torch actor Chris Evans as 2022 Sexiest Man Alive.

Jane Campion infamously scoffed at grown men wearing tights, but she appears to be an extreme outlier. By our reckoning this is the fourth awardee who owes his fame to a superhero role.
