The whole "free" to play scene really isn't our thing but Nexon have released a very sexy trailer for their upcoming free-to-play sci-fi shooter The First Descendant.

We especially like the techno cowboy boots complete with lightning sparks.

Gotham at Gamescom

Having completely dominated gaming news of late we had seriously thought that maybe Gotham Knights would take a few days off for Gamescom.

Nope. This morning they tweeted their inclusion in its Opening Night which here in Australia will be streaming on the 24th at 4 AM AEST.

Sony Sued

Earlier this year the US Federal Trade Commission launched an anti-trust investigation into Sony's acquisition of game developer Bungie.

Across the pond they're now also being sued for 5 billion pounds by 9 million claimants for overpricing games and in-game purchases.

The Entropy Centre

One of the games which caught our eye during June's Summer Game Fest was time-rewinding puzzle platformer, The Entropy Centre.

They've followed up their enticing trailer with five minutes of gameplay.

Ozzie games developer Drop Bear Bytes (what a name) have released a Gamescom trailer for their upcoming post apocalyptic isometric roleplaying game Broken Roads.

Which boasts a unique four dimensional (Utilitarian, Humanist, Nihilist, Machiavellian) morality system.

Gotham Knights Combat

Warner Bros. have released, via Twitter it seems, short annotated gameplay videos for each of the playable characters in upcoming action roleplaying game Gotham Knights, which others have helpfully republished together.

So it's a two minute blow-by-blow combat preview.

Red Hood Builds

Batgirl in the Belfry 2

Bit of a running gag here - after Warner Bros. shelved the Batgirl film, it seems like they're taking absolutely every opportunity remind us that her character is still in open-world action roleplaying game Gotham Knights.

The cinematic scene with Batgirl and Nightwing in the Belfry has been deleted (made private) and re-uploaded to the official Gotham Knights YouTube channel.

Deliver Us Mars Delayed

The developers of upcoming space adventure game Deliver Us Mars have announced a launch delay from September 27 to February 2, 2023.

Citing the entirely usual and expected reason of wanting the game to be its best.
